Maz’s paintings will be featured in The Lab, a pop-up group show organised by Art Pharmacy as a part of the Sydney Fringe Festival. Opening night is on Thursday 4 Sept – details here.

Maz is a finalist in the 2014 Sulman Prize. The winners of the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman prizes will be announced at the Art Gallery of NSW on Friday, July 18, and the exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday July 19.

Maz will be doing a studio residency at La Macina di San Cresci in August. The residency is located at an old church and house just outside the town of Greve in Chianti.

Maz is a finalist in the 2012 Sulman Prize. The winners of the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman prizes will be announced at the Art Gallery of NSW on Friday, March 30, and the exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday March 31.

Affinity, a group show curated by Maz and Celine Roberts, is now on at galleryeight until November 17. Maz will also feature in Küt, the second show at new Kings Cross gallery Alaska. Küt opens on Wednesday November 2, drinks from 6pm. Level 2 of the Kings Cross Car Park, 9A Elizabeth Bay Rd Elizabeth Bay (directly behind the Kings Cross Police station).

Dawn and Dusk is now showing at galleryeight until October 27. Maz will also feature in Unfolding, a group show at At The Vanishing Point, Newtown, opening on Thursday October 20 – all welcome!

Maz’s next solo show, Dawn and Dusk, will open at galleryeight on 7 October. Featuring a combination of paintings and collages, the show will look at a proposal by a 19th century group of drinkers that fake ruins be installed across the Australian landscape. Drinks with the artist will be on Friday 7 October from 6:30pm. Maz also has some group shows coming up. Affinity (co-curated with Celine Roberts) explores notions of intimacy. This show will follow Dawn and Dusk at galleryeight. In November Maz will also be in Kut at Alaska, a new ARI being set up by Sebastian Goldspink in Kings Cross. Maz’s painting Alaska is for Dreamers is currently hanging in the Fisher’s Ghost Art Award Exhibition at the Campbelltown Arts Centre. The exhibition runs until 21 November.

10 August 2010
In September Maz will have a video installation at Plump Gallery in Enmore as a part of the Sydney Fringe Festival. This will be followed by an exhibition of paintings and collages at Mary Place Gallery in Paddington.

Today Maz is participating in a speed dating event at CarriageWorks, where artists will be presenting their work to local galleries. The event is part of Art Month Sydney.
